Ammonite Studios’ Soho Green Rooms announces next wave of speakers

Soho Green Rooms announces the next wave of speakers, themes and product demonstrations for its newly launched live entertainment and theatre festival.  From 16 – 18 July 2024 at the Boulevard Theatre in London, Soho Green Rooms will explore the future of live entertainment through keynotes, panel discussions, product demonstrations, audience Q&A and networking. The all-new Soho Green Rooms festival will bring together key players and creatives in the theatre and live event industries to debate trends and concerns impacting the theatre and live entertainment world. Providing an in-depth look into the multifaceted world of live production, Soho Green Rooms will explore many of the big questions surrounding the industry’s future, including how to create meaningful experiences for Gen Z audiences, sustainability, and redefining creative roles in theatre and beyond.

Soho Green Rooms is excited to announce the next wave of speakers for the 2024 conference, including a keynote by Liz Botros, Development Manager at The Mackintosh Foundation, and Morag Small, Project Director at Theatre Artists Fund. Further speakers added to the line-up include Kate Bailey, Senior Curator and Producer at V&A Museum; Ben Cooper, Creative Director at D+DX; Amber Etra, Rep Advisor Specialist atChristie Lites; Trevor Nichol, Head of Technical Production at Pixel Artworks; Tom Piper MBE, Award-winning Theatre Designer; Bryan Raven, Sustainability and ESG at White Light; Mark Stevenson, Co-founder and Chief Impact Officer atCUR8; and Leo Warner, Founder and Creative Director at 59 Productions.

Soho Green Rooms has also announced a full day dedicated to sustainability with three engaging panels from leading live entertainment and theatre professionals. Audiences will hear from those uniting industry sectors to reduce carbon outputs and promote sustainability as a 360-degree business concern. During the sustainability day, Soho Green Rooms will launch ‘Sustainability United,’ a new umbrella voice committed to creating new pathways to transparent reporting and a sustainability charter reference that can be used throughout the live event industry.

PRODUCT DEMONSTRATIONS

Throughout the three-day event, demo demonstrations will showcase cutting-edge technologies revolutionizing live entertainment and theatre. Featured product demonstrations will include Digital Project Ltd, which will present the latest in projection technology, and software developer Vectorworks, which will demonstrate how creatives can present designs through Meta’s Odyssey Headset.
